Hello I’m Gem, your wedding obsessed, trained designer who’s passionate about paper and printing!

I’m so incredibly lucky to have the dreamiest job on the planet. I get to work with the loveliest couples and help them create truly gorgeous stationery, and I have to pinch myself daily that I get to design wedding paper & signage for a living. I create luxury, tactile pieces of keepsake stationery - my design process is thoughtful and my standards are high.

A little About Me

About Me Facts

I graduated with a degree in Visual Communication in 2007 before travelling and working around the world as a graphic designer. It was upon returning to New Zealand and becoming engaged to my amazing man that a passion for putting romance onto paper was ignited and Just My Type was born.

I am now the proud mamma of two young girls and a baby boy. As a family we love getting outdoors and exploring the surrounds that we are so lucky to have at our fingertips here in NZ. I enjoy exploring our local markets and drinking good coffee when I‘m not busy creating in the studio!
